The bilateral relationship between the two countries can be strengthened by cooperation from the education or cooperation side U to U (university to university). One of the cooperation activities is student exchange. Faculty of Social and Political Sciences UAJY has established cooperative relationships with leading universities in Germany in the social fields of the University of Passau and the University of Ilmenau for 10 years. Therefore, this cooperation wants to be strengthened with the support of the Embassy in Germany, through discussions with Drs. Ign Putranto M.Si with Fauzi Bowo, who currently serves as Ambassador of Indonesia in Germany at the Indonesian Embassy in Germany, last Friday (8/5).
The visit to the Indonesian Embassy in Berlin is also the closing ceremony of FISIP UAJY Student Exchange to Germany. “We support the UAJY cooperation program with Universities in Germany. The ability of foreign language students in Social Sciences should be strengthened, not just English but also other languages for social science students to compete globally, “said Fauzi Bowo.
