On Saturday (21/04) Kantor Pusat Pelatihan Bahasa dan Budaya (KPBB)/ Office for Language and Culture Learning, Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY) held event named KPBB Fest with theme Kartini’s Day. This yearly event not only be offered for UAJY students, but also open for public.
The concept for the 8th KPBB Fest this year was Traditional Java, which there were several contest such as create a collage on the cutting board; Bakiak racing; Tumpeng decorating; traditional fashion show, and Calligraphy of Mandarin, Korean, Japan and Java.
With this event, KPBB would like to introduce about Indonesian culture and tradition for UAJY students and international students.
International students from Thailand, Japan, Yaman, Netherland, Rwanda and Slovakia were so excited to learn Javanese culture. We look forward for the excitement program in next year!
